It’s been a crazy week for Spanish team Real Madrid, after locking in their La Liga Champions title.
David Beckham, who once played for the team revealed his excitement in Los Angeles to Hollyscoop.com, as his team LA Galaxy took on the New York Bulls 1-0.
“Great! Of course, being a Real Madrid fan and a player for four years, it was amazing to see, because Barcelona is one of the best teams in the world and it was always going to be tough. But I’m so happy for Jose Mourinho and the players that I’ve played with there, and the players that I respect as well. It’s great for Real Madrid fans and it’s been three since they had the title and it was great to see!”
In regards to any advice he could share with the star player Cristiano Ronaldo, he said “No!” “I think he’s such a great talent, such a great player and a good person. He’s one of the best, if not THE best player in the world. So watching him is a huge pleasure for many Real Madrid fans.”
When David decides to retire from playing, it would be great to see him join his old teammate Zinedine Zidane as a director for Real Madrid.
Recently David told Hollyscoop’sDiana Madison, that coaching could be a possibility in the future. “You never know, I’ll always be part of the club some way, I have a great relationship with Florentino. Who knows what happens in the future.”
In the meantime, David will prepare to take on his old team Real Madrid in Los Angeles at the L.A. Home Depot center on August 2, 2012.
With his new Spanish league title, he wants to give thanks to his fans!
In a statement to Realmadrid.com he says, “I feel incredibly happy. This is my first Spanish league title and I’m delighted about it. We’ve had a spectacular season and the fans deserve this. The team also deserves the title because we’ve played phenomenally well. I am very happy.”
In regards to his teammates he says, “I wish to thank everyone here. We’re having a lot of fun and we want to win again next year to return.”
“There are two games left in the championship and we’ve achieved our objective of winning the league. I’m not too worried about not winning the Pichichi this year. We’ll see what happens in the end.”
Cristiano Ronaldo brought sexy back to the streets of Madrid. Has he learned how to walk like a model from his WAG Irina Shayk?
The sexy star looked like he was in good spirits, can you blame him? He literally just proved to the world that he is the boss!
Although CaptainWAG is in love with CR7, his rhinestone belt has to go! Actually, he needs to take his clothes off and just walk around in his underwear. Just like Mesut Ozil did after their win against Barcelona.
I know, I couldn’t focus on anything else besides Mesut Ozil as well. Not to mention Sergio Ramos who tweeted a picture of himself topless with his boys. Yes, I am thinking the same thing you are, Pepe needs to get out of the way!
Let’s just say Cristiano Ronaldo brought sexy back this past weekend as he helped his team Real Madrid beat Barcelona during the El Classico Match in Barcelona.
CR7 emerged as the hero during the second half proving to this critics that he’s got his mojo back!
The game gave Real Madrid 108 goals for the season, a new record for La Liga.
Barcelona huffed and puffed but too often Messi was too far from goal when he received the ball and those who did find themselves in goal-scoring positions could not finish.
He has so often this season been in the shadow of Messi but now he seems like he is back on top.
FC Barcelona player Xavi Hernandez is adding more fuel to the fire by stating that he’s on Team Messi.
He tells Gol TV, “Obviously Cristiano is a great footballer, they are two players who make the most difference on a football field, but Messi is above anyone. I hate to compare, but Leo gives us everything, scores goals; creates them; always involved in the flow of the game, leading nearly every attacking move.”
Well, we know who has more significance in Xavis book, but who do you think is the better of the two? Tweet us @captainwag with your thoughts. Ill be comparing topless photos of the two in the meantime!
