What does baller Wayne Rooney do to let off some steam after Manchester United conceded the Barclays Premier League crown to rivals City?
He hits Sin City…with his family that is!
Not sure if this is the best preparation for the forthcoming European Championships, but who am I to judge!
While the Germans, Dutch, French and Spanish all meet up for pre-tournament training, England’s best player has been spotted hitting the gambling tables and sinking beers in Las Vegas. Now that’s my type of relaxation!
Wayne us suspended from the first two games which will take place in Poland and Ukraine, so Vegas can be a good way to relieve his stress.
David Beckham was in Greece yesterday to pick up the Olympic flame to start its 8,000 mile tour across Britain.
The LA Galaxy midfielder was joined by British Royal, Princess Anne at the torch handover ceremony and will carry back the flame on a special golden plane Friday to the U.K.
A total of 8,000 people will carry the torch during its 70 day journey to the London Olympics. The opening ceremony will take place on July 27th, which takes place nearby Beckhams childhood home.
The soccer icon hopes to play for Britain in the Olympic games and is said to be on coach Stuart Pearce’s 80 man short list, which must be cut to 18 players for Britain’s first Olympic soccer team since 1960.
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Paquiaou are butting heads yet again, but its still not in the ring.
Manny Pacquiao vocally expressed his opposition of same sex marriage in a recent interview, which upset many and prompting the Los Angeles Grove to ban the Filipino boxers from appearing in a scheduled interview on the property.
So in typical Mayweather fashion, he’s decided to chime in. He tweeted Wednesday, I stand behind President Obama & support gay marriage. I’m an American citizen & I believe people should live their life the way they want.
Pacquiao’s public scrutiny for his recent interview with the Examiner came after many believed a passage from Leviticus that was in the story came from the boxer, which he has denied. The writer of the story has since backed up Manny’s statement.
John Cena’s estranged wife Elizabeth claims she was blindsided by the pro wrestler when he filed for divorce. Even stating publicly stating she didn’t want a divorce and tried desperately to work things out.
So it should come as no surprise she’s pulling out all the stops to prevent the divorce from moving forward. TMZ has learned Elizabeth just filed legal documents stating John’s divorce petition is full of errors and should be dismissed.
The marriage may have been short lived, but this WAG wants to make it clear her last name is indeed Cena, According to Elizabeth, John inaccurately refers to her by her maiden name Huberdeau instead of her legal name Cena. Which she says fails to bring “a proper dissolution of marriage action” against her.
John’s soon to be ex also claims he failed to attach the prenup he mentions in his initial divorce filing, which is needed in order for the filing to be valid.
Do you think John should have to re-file his paperwork or is this just Elizabeths way of delaying the divorce?
Hulk Hogans little girl is all grown up and ready to follow in her daddy’s footsteps! Brooke Hogan has signed a deal to join the TNA wresting family, a rep has confirmed. And as sexy as it is to watch two greased up women attacking each other in a ring, don’t get too excited…Brooktini has no plans of actually wrestling.
TNA President Dixie Carter tells TMZ, Brooke is NOT going to be a wrestler … but rather an executive who will be tasked to develop female talent. Brooke will help mentor female wrestlers and help to develop their characters.
Being the spawn of Hulkamania you’d think this 24 year old would want to get inside the ring and cause a bit of ruckus, who knows maybe she’ll be tempted to do so in the future!
I am pretty sure PETA would disagree with the following comments, but got to give some love to Michael Vicks for changing his life around.
Seems like he has his head straight as he is set to get married and was featured on the NFL Network Top 100 players of 2012 coming in at No. 70.
His teammate Jeremy Maclin says, “I think the best overall player in the NFL is Mike Vick. I respect the man to death and am lucky to have him as my quarterback.”
“The test of a real man is how he comes back from things that go bad in your life,” Maclin said. “The way he’s bounced back is tremendous, the way he’s handled himself.”
We all know that baller Tim Tebow is down with Jesus … but lets make something clear, he ain’t down with “MY Jesus” t-shirts.
The NY Jets quarterback is threatening to take legal action because he says a website is illegally using his name to sell the merchandise.
In the cease and desist letter sent to cubbytees.com last month it says that “The Merchandise makes it appear as if Mr. Tebow actually endorses Cubby Tees and its products.”
Interestingly, the tee shirts in question do not use Tebow’s image or name — but instead spell out “MY Jesus” using the colors and font of his new team … the NY Jets.
Although the website states the shirt is made for fun and not officially endorsed by Time, does he have any right to sue?
